Third baseman David Bell hit 2 doubles and scored 3 times and Matt Riley
struck out 10 batters at Pro Player Stadium where the Tampico Stogies beat
the Burbank Tigers by the score of 9 to 4.
Riley(4-4) had a fairly solid outing. He was reached for 10 hits and 4 walks
in 6 and 1/3 innings and surrendered 2 homeruns. Tampico had 14 hits for the
afternoon while Burbank had 11.
The loss was charged to Jason Jennings(3-17). He was touched for 3 homeruns

his 10 strikeouts. 'It's tough to generate runs if you can't make contact
with the ball.'
